  1. Ohhhhh nooooo we are just shattered! This is so so difficult, I cannot imagine how you guys are feeling right now. Our hearts, and all our love and condolences are being sent across the miles, I hope you can feel them.

Rylie was so loved, and such a treasure. She gave life her everything, and you were the parents she was born to have to enable her to do that. Her amazing spirit will never fade, because Rylie’s job was to come here on earth and show us how to live life to the fullest. We all felt her mission and are forever changed by her beautiful soul.

Know that we are keeping a candle lit in our hearts for your special girl. We are here for you, always.

  2. Just makes me sick to hear this. Stunned and shocked. Shaking my head in disbelief. I’m so very, very sorry. So sad and so heartbroken to hear this. I’m just so sorry.
I hope you know this . I hope you kmow what I’m about to say is true. Kylie is, and will continue to be, such a huge inspiration of what’s possible after amputation. Rylie wasted no time getting back to being Rylie!!! I so loved the video of her with her first time back on the trail. That dog was smiling and proud and happy!! And seeing her so happy with her pack….these are memories she wants you to have.
And you damn right! She beat that rotten disease! Beat it and kicked it to the curb!! I don’t know if this makes any sense, but if it was time for her toshed herearth clothes and let her Spirit run free, she did it because she lived her life to the fullest doing what she loved to do! What she was born to do!! She did it in a way that deprived that piece of crap disease from taking her. She lived her life on HER terms!

Tje love in Rylie’s eyes in the picture is so apparent. She has such peace in her eyes. She truly is surrounding you with her loving grace, with a knowing how deeply you love her and with the look of “thank you”.
I have no doubt that Izzy, Maggie ,Jake ,Max and Anya were all there to welcome her back home! I know she ran fast as the wind when she saw them there to greet her! And they had a feast of brisket and ide cream as her welcome home meal. Then after a little rest, she showed all the dogs at the Bridge what a RockStar hunting dog looks like as she stealthy ran through the grasses, sniffing all the scents nature had to offer.
Please, when you can, please share more of Rylie with us. We know you jave some gut wrenching times ahead and the void will seem unbearable. At some point though, Rylie WILL connect with you in a way that is “Rylie specific “. A way that let’s you know he is still with you and is doi g just fine! That’s a promise.
Thank you for the pr6 od getting g to mnow Rykie and the lovely unbreakable and eternal bond you share❤
Surrounding you with Riley’s love and eternal light
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too

  3. I am so very sorry. I just said goodbye to my boy Lucky on Friday, and so I know firsthand how devastated you feel right now. Rylie was a beautiful dog and it sounds like she was loved in a way that all dogs should be. She had such beautiful, soulful eyes. I hope that Lucky and Rylie will find each other at the rainbow bridge and will become the best of friends. Somehow thinking of them playing together, no longer in pain, makes my heart hurt a little less. I hope that you will soon be able to think of Rylie and smile, but for now, its ok to cry and grieve the loss of your sweet pup. Please let me know if I can help in any way. I’ll be thinking of you. Run free sweet Rylie!

    Pam

  4. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Run free sweet Angel. This is the hardest part of our journey because grief is so individual. Lean on your friends and family. We are here for you. Watch for signs and you will know that Rylie is ok

  5. I am so sorry- what a sweet girl. I love her eyebrows. We lost Quincy almost a week ago and it still hurts so much. Almost unbearable. I’m so sorry you’re in this pain too. As Lucky’s mom said, maybe Lucky, Quincy, and Rylie are all playing together now, totally healthy and happy.
